Dr Afroz is the principal dentist at Colchester Dental Surgery. Dr Afroz qualified from Cardiff Dental School with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, having also undertaken a BSc(Hons) in Biochemistry. She has been a clinical supervisor for final year dental students at the Mountain Ash Primary Dental Care Unit since 2012, and a Foundation Dental trainer for 7 years, having won the South Wales Dental Foundation Training prize. Dr Afroz is passionate about postgraduate study and continuing professional development. She has completed an MSc degree in clinical endodontics from the University of South Wales, and been trained in dental implants by the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology. Dr Afroz undertakes all forms of dental and cosmetic treatment at the practice.
In her spare time, Dr Afroz enjoys travelling, gardening and interior decorating, as well as going to the theatre and attending comedy shows with her husband and daughter.
