Practice Manager
Qualifications: Diploma in Dental Practice Management
Melanie joined Colchester Dental Surgery in 2011 as the Practice Manager. She came into dentistry after a change of career in 1995, and traned as a dental nurse while studying for her Diploma in Physiology and Sociology from the University of Wales. She obtained a Diploma in Dental Practice Management in 1996, and has been instrumental in setting up two dental practices from scratch. Soon after starting with Colchester Dental Surgery, Melanie became involved in the newly established CertHE course at Cardiff University, and is a clinical supervisor to trainee dental nurses at the practice.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys walking her dog, socialising, and looking after her grandchildren.
